Dr. Colleen Rae-Jenkins, O.D.
I have a deep love of helping others and the dynamics of how eye health reflects the rest of the body. I enjoy getting to know my patients and making sure they have time to ask questions and understand their treatment plans.
I value my patients leaving their exam feeling like they understand what was evaluated and discussed. All my patients get a comprehensive exam that not only evaluates their best corrected vision, but also evaluates the health of every structure in the eye. I provide both refractive evaluations (glasses and contacts) and disease management. I value working as a team with my patients and their other doctors. I care deeply about my patients and want them to leave feeling better than when they arrived. I have been in practice since 2011 and graduated with clinical honors from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry after completing my undergraduate studies at West Chester University. I was awarded the Central Pennsylvania "Young Optometrist of the Year" award in 2018. In 2023, I was honored to be awarded the "Pennsylvania Optometrist of the Year"!
When I am not seeing patients I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and travelling. I am also active in our local optometry association and served as the Past- President of the Central Pennsylvania Optometric Association.
